Shifty is Nifty is excited to announce that we are exclusively giving away three copies of the new US release of Jackson United's sophomore album, Harmony and Dissidence, courtesy of Acetate Records. March 27th, 2008: Yeah, we're still alive here, folks! Sarah & I apologize for the lack of updates. The site was in flux for a bit as StartLogic (the site we use for hosting) was upgrading it to a new platform. But we are back and will be updating when time permits. As of tonight, I have updated the Events page. Notice the coolness that is coming up: FACE TO FACE are reuniting for a few shows in a week, eee! (Sarah and I so wish we were in CA, jealous *sigh*.) October was a big month for the Brothers Shiflett. On the 17th, Me First and the Gimme Gimmes new album, Love Their Country was released. Buy It!. Also on the 17th, the long-anticipated Face to Face DVD was released! Pick it up!. Finally on Halloween, Viva Death's long-awaited sophomore album, One Percent Panic was released. BUY IT NOW!

January 12th, 2006: Hope everyone had a great New Year's! This morning's updates: Shifty Encyclopedia (and hey, we've added some more Scott-related entries!) and the Events page. Regarding the Gimmes' dates in the spring: currently we don't know if Scott or Chris will be performing. We believe it's Scott but it might change.

December 30th, 2005: Long time (again) no update. Sarah and Tania send our apologies. We don't normally make New Year's Resolutions, but we will try to keep the site updated more frequently in 2006. This morning's update is to the encyclopedia. Have a Happy New Year, all!

November 4th, 2005: Part II: The Events page has been updated with Chris's schedule. SIN is happy to add a new affiliate: Cat's Sweet Paramania site, your go-to place for Dave (Grohl, of course) photos, articles, and more.

November 4th, 2005: Happy Fall, everyone! Sorry that it's been so long since we've updated the site. :( In the interim, I've seen my first (and a second) Foo show and it was amazing! While Chris is out touring the world with the Foos, be sure to catch our *other* favorite Shiflett's new Face to Face Release: Shoot the Moon: The Essential Face to Face Collection, which is coming out on the 15th. In addition to the CD there is a 28-page booklet with words from all the band members through the years. Eventually there will be a DVD. Next year, Trever Keith will be releasing F2F's entire catalog on his own Antagonistic Records label. Hopefully next year will also see the release of Viva Death's sophomore album.
