Five Questions With Chris: Part II

(1) One of your many pasttimes is surfing. Do you have a preferred place to surf--Hawaii, Cali, NZ, Australia?

although i'd rather be somewhere with warm water and a tropical environment, i'll take a good day at county line any time.

(2) Politics are very important to you. Do you see yourself eventually infusing your lyrics with politics? Or will that be left up to another band you're in, Viva Death?

ya, some of the new jackson united stuff has taken on a more political tone. i just right [sic] about what's interesting to me and going thru my head.

(3) Is your motto still "say nope to dope and ugh to drugs"? Or do you have a new one for the kids!

my new motto is - TRY NOT TO KILL YOURSELF IN YOUR SLEEP!

(4) Whatever happened to the "infamous Mr. Nono"? Is he in doggy Heaven? :(

her name was "the noo noo" and i don't know what her status is these days cuz i had a falling out with my old roommate. i hope she's ok.

(5) Unlike labels overseas, you've had a very difficult time getting on a label in your home country, the US. Any ideas why? I mean, are labels overseas more open to new acts? Is the US more concerned with pinpointing a genre--i.e. punk/rock/pop?

i could probably think of a million reasons but the important thing is that it's finally coming out here in the states. i should have just put it out myself a long time ago. there won't be any hassle with the next one.
