Toronto Salsa Practice at our Salsa Socials

The turn out at our Toronto Salsa Practice in our Friday Salsa social today was decent given that Valentine’s day is around the corner.  People tend to be scattered all over the palce during the Valentine’s weekend with parties being thrown left, right, and center. 

Yared started with our signature Cuban Rueda class.  There were a few new members but they have cuaght on and enjoyed our Toronto Salsa Classes for Cuban Rueda.  The night then continued with our signature Spanish Tapas and Sangria.  Many people had fun dancing on the dance floor and we made an effort to ensure that everyone was asked to dance even the shy ones.

There was a good mix of Salsa, Bachata and Merengue music being played.  There  were some guests who were new to Bachata and Merengue.  Yared did a quick lesson during the song to help them catch on to the music along side with a basic step by offering little nuggets that one will get from Salsa Classes In Toronto.  People had a great time and at the end of the crash couse during the Dance lesson was able to at least perform the basic step of Bachata and Merengue.  A good mixture of music was played all night long. 

The next two weeks should be exciting as the renovation should be finished at the studio offering larger windows.  There will be performance aligned on top of the regular soalsa that we have every Firday.  We are contemplating on continuing the the Salsa social next Friday given that the windows are being replaced.  However we will keep everyone posted.

Martin remembered his family whenever the holidays came. He had grown up in a closely knit family and so was heart broken to have to leave them behind when he got a transfer to another town. When his wife refused to prepare gifts for another holiday, he decided to tell her the truth. That began a new turn in that family. For once, they sat together and talked about what they could change in the family. Instead of visiting the supermarkets for gifts, they even started Jewellery Making using beads. It was a changed family that celebrated that holiday and the more which were to come. Not only did they make meaningful gifts for each other, they spoke their hearts when they made the numerous cards to bless others.
